  • My therapeutic approach is mindfulness + trauma-informed, so your sessions will always meet you in the moment. That means each session may look a little different, depending upon your needs. I often incorporate other holistic healing techniques into our music therapy sessions, including mindfulness and meditation guidance. Find session rates here.

    • Work 1:1 with a Board-Certified Music Therapist to cultivate creativity and promote healthy self-expression.

    • In Music Therapy, we use music-based interventions to support the therapeutic process. No music experience is necessary to participate in and benefit from Music Therapy.

    • Each session is personalized for you. You may listen and move to music, sing, create music (such as writing original songs), discuss song lyrics, or play musical instruments. Music Therapy can help your mind, body, and spirit as you express and work through emotions. It is a highly effective, non-pharmacological way to support your physical and mental health.

  • Wellness Coaching is for anyone looking for practical life support but not specifically therapy.

Therapy often includes an analysis of the past, while coaching focuses on the present and future.

Wellness coaching can help you with practical challenges like navigating life with chronic illness/pain, career advice, or finding ways to incorporate more wellness practices into your life.

Coaching is solutions oriented and often includes action plans. It’s the perfect option if you want to work together but don’t want therapy - you’ll still get the best version of me!

  • Innovative end-of-life support to honor their legacy through creativity.

  • I often incorporate meditation into sessions, including Guided Imagery with Music and Guided Relaxation with Music.

    • Learn to quiet your mind and calm your nervous system.

    • Create a meditation practice that works for your needs.

    • Restore calm and reclaim inner peace.

    • Learn to meditate wherever you are, exactly as you are.

Research suggests that meditation can benefit your overall health and well-being, reduce stress, improve sleep, increase patience and tolerance, help you gain new perspectives on stressful situations, focus on the present moment, increase creativity, lower your resting heart rate and blood pressure, and help you manage pain.

  • I prioritize Engaged Mindfulness within sessions.

Engaged Mindfulness is not just a tool; it is a path of happiness, awareness, transformation, and engaged action.

    • Learn the art of being present in the here and now.

    • Cultivate mindfulness as a lifestyle to support your physical and mental health.

    • Learn to incorporate mindful breathing, mindful awareness, mindful observation, and mindful listening. We will teach you creative ways to practice mindfulness on a daily basis.

Research shows that mindfulness can decrease anxiety, depression, rumination, and emotional reactivity. It can increase well-being, improve quality of sleep, improve concentration and focus, improve emotional regulation, and support immune system functioning.

  • Learn to incorporate nature into your daily life to help you feel better.

    • Research confirms that spending time in nature can benefit your health and well-being. Being in nature can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, calm your nervous system, enhance your immune system functioning, reduce anxiety, increase your self-esteem, and improve your mood.

    • I will work with you to carefully curate nature experiences that are tailored to your specific ability level and interests. Whenever possible, we will find ways to incorporate nature into our Music Therapy sessions.

  • Self-improvement doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

    • Research confirms that an individual’s quality of life directly impacts the quality of life of those around them—especially partners and children. This means that when you invest in yourself, you are investing in those you love the most.

    • If you choose, I can also work individually or jointly with your loved one(s) to encourage self-expression, develop effective communication, and help process the multifaceted impact of stress and/or trauma on the family unit.

    • You’ve made the choice to transform your life and improve your health and well-being. Now choose to share the growth process with your family.
